Mohare Danda Khopra Trek trail is popularly known as Annapurna Dhaulagiri Community Eco Lodge trek takes you to Mohare Danda (3300m), Khopra Danda and Khayer Lake Trek. It is an recently promoted community based Eco-trail trek, to take away from the other crowded trekking route of Annapurna region. However, Mohare Danda Khopra Trek gives you the amazing panoramic views on the massive Himalayas including Mount Dhaulagiri 8167m, Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchchhre (fishtail) 6997m, Nilgiri 6940m, Annapurna I 8091m and numerous other snow-topped mountains and Peaks.
Another attraction of this trek is the blessed out of Khair Barah (Khayer Temple) basically known as Hindu Temple. Which requires a little closer to the high altitude of 4600 meters from the sea level. But it isn’t necessity to go Khayar Lake to complete this trek, means possibility to skip Khair Lake and Khyar Barah from Khopra Danda. This trek is suitable for each enthusiastic trekker. As the most part of this trail are significantly cover with lush thick pine, oak, rhododendron and bamboo forest.
The beautiful trekking passes through the some traditional villages with some indigenous group of Magar, Gurung, Kami, Damai, Chetri and Brahmin’s displaying its perfectly terraced and cultivated landscapes.
In other hand, Mohare Danda Khopra Trek is also well-known for village tourism trail, and the trekkers will have opportunity to have a part of their family in the local home-stay, community lodge and tea-houses. The trekking trail being promoted and developed by the local Community to financially support the people of these areas from tourism. There are numerous alternatives options of itineraries for this trek. Most of the trekkers can incorporate with Myagdi Tatopani (hot spring) on their itinerary to take a hot bath on the natural hot spring yet after Kopra there is selective route to end the trek via Tadapani and Ghandruk for those who are not willing to go to Tatopani (Hot spring).
