by Lee Frayne on Nepal Trekking, Tour, Peak Climbing & Adventure Holidays in Nepal

We have just returned from a 6 day trek from Jiri over Pikey Peak and down to Phaplu with Visit Himalaya Treks. During the planning for our first visit to Nepal as also first time trekking, Visit Himalaya Treks was recommended to us by family and they were great help with recommendations to suit our plans and organised everything to ensure that everything went smoothly. Our guides Krishna and Bikram were highly knowledgeable of the area and tracks. Their recommended routes and choice of tea houses allowed us to manage the increasing altitude and our levels of fitness. As we travelled through different areas Krishna kept us informed of the cultural aspects specific to that area, one of our goals in coming to Nepal. Bikram also helped with the cooking at some of the teahouses with a variety of choices and we are now familiar with local cuisine. Visit Himalaya Treks offers a very wide range of treks and activities and from our experience with this trek I would look no further.
